tomato soup and cherry shrimp
Well I have a very sad but funny story to tell everyone. First off I was watching my brothers kids today and his 2 yr old is the devil himself. I made them tomato soup for lunch. They were eating so I thought that I would run out and get the mail in the mail box (its only about 10ft from the front door). When I came back in I seen that he wasnt at the table so I asked his sister where he went. Good old teenager answer I dont know. I herd a sound coming from the room where my fish are so I walked down there. He got the chair from my desk over to the tank and put his tomato soup in the shrimp tank. Well I tryed to do a 90% water change really fast but by the time I got most of the water out they were all dead. So Cherry shrimp dont like tomato soup and it dont matter how hungery they look dont feed them that.

around 100+ the war of the reds thats good. You know the funny thing is I thought that I would be mad but all I can do is laugh about it. I guess that last rock I had in my head must have fell out.
uhmm tomato soup is acidic right. man, sorry for your 100 losts. i would have lost my temper there.
Did you noticed them dead before or after the water change?

While I was doing the water change they were kicking the bucket. I still have a couple that made it and is in a different tank. I dont know what it was about it but they were swiming crazy crashing into the tank walls and rock in the tank. And a couple of them jumped out of the tank like they were just trying to get away from it.
Im looking at it on the good side. I have always wanted to go to CRS well now is my chance.

He is only 2 so you have to give him a break. Plus he always called them tomato shrimp so I guess he thought that they eat tomato's. If you get mad it dont get you anywhere further down the road so just sit back and think of what else you can do to make up for it in the future. Like I just ordered some crystal red shrimp from ryan at planet inverts. So I will give CRS a try and see how they go from there.

if another mishaps were to happen, I think you can just scoop them them out right away.. They can live in air for awhile right?
I woulda charged him $2 per shrimp. No allowance for him for a while.

You should tell him that Santa Claus is actually a giant lobster, and Santa's not going to be too happy about his dead babies. Also, tell him tomato soup isn't made out of tomatoes, but rather, it's made from the blood of the Easter bunny.
