I know this is probably a stupid question but, should I be adding anything to my tank for Java Moss? I know its a harty plant and probably does'nt NEED anything but SHOULD I add anything?
If it is just moss, then probably not. Mine grows fine in my shrimp tank without anything other than what is brought in with tap water during water changes.
I have some Amazon Frogbit in the tanks also (about 9 small floaters) and to be safe, I took some aquatic liquid plant fert.(forgot the brand name), diluted it with declorinated water (as per instruction on bottle) and used an eye-dropper to squirt some around them. I dont know if it was worth all of the effort but, I want to give them the best chance I can.
