I was wondering how many people out there dose ferts into there shrimp tanks? If so Macros and Micros?

Also would a DIY bottle of CO2 change the water in a 15g too much? Or cause the shrimp harm as I have NO Co2 as of ight now but would like to start.

I dose full doses in all of my planted/shrimp tanks and they all get pressurized co2 with no problems.

I don't dose. Although I probably should. I'm just too lazy. But now that I've admitted to it publically, maybe now I can change my ways.

Only dose once every few water changes.

I dose at half of the Seachem dosing chart. I also have CO2. Shrimp sensitivity is blown out of proportion IMO.

I dose full doses of EI and double doses of Excel (full dose in the morning, full dose at night) with CRS and RCS and have never had a shrimp die from ferts.

I dose macros and micros every Sunday after my 50% water change with no deaths of my RCS, CRS, and Atyopsis moluccensis. :thumbsup:
