Should I remove the moss from the substrate? Im still working on the background plants so it kinda looks like crap at the moment.

Yeah, I say remove the moss from the substrate. It looks to matted and tangled. The moss on the wood needs to be trimmed so that will grow bushier. Are you using co2? The stems should grow fairly well if they have enough co2.

Yeah pressurized co2 6 bps, the stems are growing like weeds I just took some out when I was moving the wood around. The moss has only been in for an hour....roak from Mr. Gordon Richards :icon_bigg

Everything sounds like its fine then. Post a pic once the stems fill out. I would recommend Hc or Glosso for a carpet.

Im already growing hairgrass, pigmy chain swords and hc...got the carpet covered.
