Good morning. As I mentioned in an earlier thread, One possible tank I'm considering planting is my 20H. The tank, though, has a six inch Tinfoil barb and a couple of cherry barbs in it. Will this tinfoil be a problem in the tank other than possibly knocking thing around due to his size? Thanks.

Yes, I originally thought it was 6-inch long fish. A 6 inch TFB is a monster. I would think he would need 100 gallons minimum.

They are pretty much like a bull/lawnmower in a china/bonsai store. If you want to do plants successfully you're not going to be able to keep the tinfoil. The cherry barbs would be fine though.

You may have to note that a 6 inches TFB will still grow. Most TFBs can reach 12 inches. And yes, they have a tendency to decimate all your plants.
