I currently have some tiger endlers in addition to some tetras, hatchetfish, and cories in my 46 gallon tank. Currently, it is one male with several females. The male has excellent colors, and is constantly displaying to the females. However, he never gets lucky, and the females always swim away from him. All the fish are healthy, and the tank is decently planted. I thought that endlers were supposed to breed like mad. Does anyone have any ideas as to the cause of my problem?

I have moved the male and two females to a 10 gallon tank. However the females still ignore his advances. But he seems to be getting more intense with them, so hopefully they'll breed.
