seriously, i watched her eggs get STUCK!




wtf!!!!!! its making my gut hurt.

I've seen them drop eggs but never this! Is she otherwise happy and healthy?
haha she seemed so until this just happened! i was shocked and stuck in my long tweezers to free her.. looks like she shoved them all back in? my son tore me away from the tank so i posted the pic here.
The eggs are held together in a gelatinous sack, so while they may look like they have stragglers hanging out, most of the time they can gather them back in. Some don't though, I've had some have the hang out d about the whole gestation period.
I can't be sure if it's painful or not but I seen females toss a bad egg or two. They don't have an umbilical cord or anything so the eggs seem to free float under the belly.

ahhh she totally tried but failed. still has some hanging on though, the rest got eaten by a straggler tetra i can't manage to net.
hehe one of my tiger shrimp has a deformed shell where the eggs are held and ever once in a while when shes berried this happens to her.
