If anybody with more expertise is willing to look at my blurry photos and confirm this is not a neo, that would be awesome. I suspect Caridina propinqua, but all I really need to know is that if I put some of my nicer cherry shrimp in with this shrimp, they won’t cross breed. When I look at it, it looks all wrong for a neo, but that’s all I’m going on. :ROFLMAO:

Yeah, well it was my husband on his own in petco because he wanted something for “his” tank (I’ll agree to anything so he doesn’t mind that there’s a tank in his workspace). He said they had orange shrimp, so I just assumed it was neos... Not so much. I quite like it. It’s very pretty and active. But it’s the only thing in there right now, so hoping to give the nicest cherries some space with no fish because I think the babies are getting eaten.
