I bought 5 cute little shrimp under the amano name. I never paid attention to what amano shrimp looked like. But I do not think these are amano shrimp. When I bought them they have the tan/gray color like the amano and looked spotted. But a few hours to a day after I added them to the cherry tank I had seen atleast one this dark gray/black color with 2-3 white stripes on the tail. Sorry I have no pics but any ideas?
I plan on getting more I do love them along with some tigers tommorro [wednesday].

Then consider this unidentifiable. Or you could look really hard for something that looks similar. I don't recognize the shrimp according to your description. Perhaps a black bee shrimp? They've been seen. All black bee shrimp. And they have 3 stripes (I think) on their tail.
