Third tank 'waterless cycling?'

I'm starting a mr aqua 22 long and I'm waiting on my lights and some more hardscape. I have 2 other tanks and have little to no algae in them and will be pulling plants from them for my new one. I'm willing to wait for all of my gear but I don't want to wait to start a cycle unless there's reason I should.

I just set up my ehiem 250 (66g) on my 10g planted tank to start seeding the whole canister. Is this a problem? Should I wait until I scape and plant the actual tank I will be using this canister on? Can I over filter my current 10g tank? Thanks for the help, feel free to move if not posted I n the right area (title written to intrigue, yes I know there's water involved
