I am trying to dip my newly purchased java moss. Can someone tell me if I use a teaspoon to measure Potassium permanganate, approximately how many mg is in one tea spoon? Also how long should I dip? 10 mins?

Thanks.

Add pp until the solution is a nice deep purple/pink, and let the plants sit in there for 20 minutes. Moss is more sensitive, I hear, so maybe a shorter time.

15 - 20 is about right, just rinse REALLY well. I like to rinse the plants after the dip and then soak 30 minutes in tap water to be safe. Coppersafe is questionable, it could do more damage to your plants than good and if you have shrimp it may leave deadly residue.
