he was a sponsor but ended it recently. I don't blame him, its hard to justify the $100+ a month they want to be a sponsor.

Yep the new owners doubled the price on me from what I was paying. It's tough to make a living in this business and you have to watch where your money goes.

Interesting. I tried looking at sponsorship myself almost a year ago and was surprised that anyone was paying them at those prices but I guess you may have been paying the old rate which was more reasonable.
I also always wonder what those websites sell for when they do

Premium Vendor is $150/month and if you wanted to upgrade to the forum sponsorship it is $250/month.

Yea that would be hard to justify. That is alot for the little profit that many of us can make. But then again I just do it for fun! Anything I sell from extras usually goes into more livestock lol..

it does seem kinda high but since this forum is so locked down you are really paying for your ability to advertise.
you get your own section and can put links in your signature along with I think a banner advertisement at the top.
but yes still hard to justify for most smaller @ home setups.
