Silver, Dorthy and the Wizard of Oz.

Stumbled across this historical documentary from 2010 on the original children's book "The Wizard of Oz" and how Dorthy with her silver slippers was really a metaphor for monetary and banking policy.

Found it fascinating. Amazing the kind of history they just don't teach. Good brain food for sure. Highly recommended

The british empire was built on a money system of wood sticks for hundreds of years. I guess its not any nuttier then thinking a bunch
of zeros on a computer screen are "wealth". lol
