Silver, Dorthy and the Wizard of Oz.

Stumbled across this historical documentary from 2010 on the original children's book "The Wizard of Oz" and how Dorthy with her silver slippers was really a metaphor for monetary and banking policy.

Found it fascinating. Amazing the kind of history they just don't teach. Good brain food for sure. Highly recommended

I remember my daughter mentioning this way back when,.... I'll have to ask her about it. She's an 'Oz' fan.

I prefer watching it while listening to my, "Dark Side of the Moon" CD.
Haha!! You need to rent the "Dark side of Oz" DVD!!!!

This is very interesting. Thank you for posting!

You bet. It really shook my tree.

Check out Bill Still's other documentary from the 1980's too ...
"Money Masters"

Great stuff. It will blow your mind if you can make yourself watch all 3.5 hours of it.

The british empire was built on a money system of wood sticks for hundreds of years. I guess its not any nuttier then thinking a bunch
of zeros on a computer screen are "wealth". lol
