Maybe I'm getting old and cranky, but the problem I have with this is that people will do one RAOK and join the club. I'm sure they have no idea what they just agreed to by joining. Go to the OP and you'll see that "you pledge to never throw away a plant again without listing it as a RAOK".

Based on the number of people on the list (over 150) we should see all kinds of RAOKs being posted. Much more than we actually see, anyway. So there are either many people who can't grow plants or there are a lot of plants getting thrown away.

I've done quite a few RAOKs, but I can't commit to never throw a plant away without listing it here first. That's why I haven't joined the club. Call me old-fashioned, but I believe in playing by the rules. I'm funny that way.

I for one have only ever had java moss do well in my tanks. They are very low tech, no ferts or anything. I'm also in a few groups on facebook and those people tend to purchase my java moss on a pretty regular basis... I have never ever thrown ANY plants away
