I'm at a new company and a new office now so i'm getting ready to put in a 7.1 Gallon Low Iron Square aquarium.

This is going to be pretty low tech and low maintenance, maybe a planted shrimp tank -- well it's going to be =P

Here's what I got so far:
1 x 7.1Gal 11.8x11.8x11.8 cube
5lbs of Ohko Stones
5lbs of Seiryuu Stones
Finnex Planted+ Clip Light
AC20 + Sponge prefilter
Azoo Planted Stratum (substrate)
Laterite 1st layer (thin layer)
mineralization powder
Florish Excel (additive)
bunch of baby and non baby shrimp food
bee balls
almond leaves
cholla wood

I'm going to dry start, but would like to get some ideas on what type of plans would be cool
so far I'm going with the following:
crypts (variety)
narrow leaf dwarf swords
some moss (but not sure what type)

What I need:
carpets
other variety of plants that are easy to get and good to dry start

what I don't want:
anything that requires Pressurized Co2 since I can't have that here.

have not decided on a good arrangement yet
will want to have carpet plus accents to fill out the aquarium. I do want it to be low maintenance and have enough room for the buggers (shrimp) to run around and reproduce.

That's awesome! I wish I could have a tank at work. I look forward to pictures.

You could do a moss carpet! I like the way flame moss looks as a carpet.
