I wish the OP would use the full name. I was looking for a species of Spiny Eel not a Moenkhausia tetra.
It's a pretty and unusual tetra in that the yolks of the babies are really golden like certain Ciclid fry, this is unusual in a group of fish (Characins) to have colored egg yolks when most of the smaller ones spawn glass clear eggs.
