Great start, great plants, great shrimp. Looking forward to the full tank shot!

Started a new shrimp tank with some nice JPBL, PRL, and Taiwan Bee Shrimp.

Alright, here goes for some full tank shots.. as this was planned just as a shrimp breeder I didn't put a lot of thought into the scaping, but I can't really help myself, had to at least give it some character..
I think I'll name it "The Enchanted Woods" lol!

Where did you get the black shrimp? They look amazing! Glad you have juvies of them too! Would one be for sale or trade any time soon?

These particular CBS in this tank are from a strain that I've had for years. I don't usually sell or trade any. I have another tank with some pretty nice regular CBS and CRS too, which are pretty nice. I usually give some of those away when I have too many.

Amazing pics! The tank is looking great, love the variety of plants in there. Still a newb myself, so unsure on em all... but I can still appreciate their beauty!

Thanks.. yeah there's a mix of plants.. keeping these shrimp is safer without CO2 I think, because they're so sensitive so I'm just pretty much throwing anything that will grow in low-tech in there. I wanted to get as many plants in there as I could quickly, to get the water condition stable. I'll probably clean it up a bit after everything grows more. I may thin out the plants to keep just 2 or 3 species in there which will make the whole thing look more natural and clean.
Looks like nurii or ideii, cool tank, Im about to set up my other 45-p for some taiwan bee's as well, clean simple look.Unknown Crypt (anyone know what sp. this is?)

Are you going to run any co2 or ferts in this tank? *edit oops, just saw you answered that above. I think I might try co2 in my taiwan bee tank, but very low bps.

Thanks.. yeah just make sure you have a really reliable regulator. One co2 dump and you loose your whole colony :'(
Cheers.. yeah I'm not sure what to do with the front. I may end up carpeting it with moss, but I had originally planned to keep it bare as a viewing/feeding area for the shrimps.
