Hey,

I recently received my TFH magazine only to find out that they are already on January. How come?

Most magazines send out issues at least a month early. This is so that people far away from the publisher or overseas get their issues on time.

Besides the mailing distances; there is also the factor that many are sold in stores as well.

As a devote subscriber I don't want to walk into a retail outlet and see the January issue, yet then have to wait a few more weeks before I can enjoy reading my copy. Of course as a person purchasing a new magazine at full retail in a store, well yeah, I want it to be the most current issue as well!

understand.... only i've seen the january issue in a store about two weeks ago, which makes the whole deal somewhat early. wouldn't I expect to get december now? accordingly then I will get february in december and so on....

Sounds like a normal magazine. I remember when I got one of the Playstation magazines, they were at least two months ahead, if not three!
