Hi all,

Just wondering if the Tenecor black acrylic stand is worth the $800 dollar price tag? I know stands for acrylic tanks are different than glass due to weight disbursement, but is their stand the best way to go? I'm not into making my own...no tools to do it with. Anyone else have any input on this? Any acrylic tank owners with something different?

there are like 2 or 3 different distributers of tenecor. The tenecor website has it listed for about 800 bucks.

No, I already mentioned on your other thread that there quality has dropped considerably.

And I've done a lot of research on custom acrylic tanks, I was about to go with tenecor but I found out through a lot of reviews (mostly on Reef Central) that they're not worth it.

Ask around Reef Central, they have the most expierence with custom aquarium builders. They might know one around TX.

Do you have your heart set on acrylic? Why not go with a rimless glass aquarium?
