TB with mischlings question

751 Views 6 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  ctaylor3737
I bought some much desired pairs of TB recently and was wondering if I should keep them in their own tanks and wait for breeding to take place.... put all the pairs together..... or take some of my mischlings and put them with the pairs of TB.

How would you go about?

Do a search on the search function using mischling. there are many mischlings threads addressing the breeding and desired output
best chance to get tb is put female mischlins with the tb males. i went with tb and didnt mess with mischlings because i didnt want to have to sort though the tank later and start pulling all the crs/cbs ones out. i wanted all tb tank.
Ok, so I have Shadow, BB, WR, and RR that I have bought. I have BKK that were produced from mischlings I bought.

So Wicca, your saying you threw all yours together and let them go at it? What would happen if I mixed all of the above, minus the mischlings?
They would breed and produce all of the aforementioned types/morphs of tbs you mentioned.

Is there no "don't put BKK with WR" or "don't put shadows with BKK" type of scenario that may produce an unwanted offspring?

Sorry for my ignorance, I am most definitely still in the learning stages of caridina breeding and it's results.
Nope they just breed and give you the random breeds from the crossing of all the genes. From what I have read.
