Tapwater Quality

What do you want us to comment on? Is there a special reason that you would need to use ro water instead of tap water? What are you planning to keep in the tank?

I am keeping Apistos but they don't thrive (breed). I think my TDS is too high (320 from tap) therefore I was thinking of using a bit of RO water.

This probably isnt the section to be placing this thread, here we deal more with PLANTS, hence the name, you could probably put this in FISH and get a faster, better answer because i feel this question has more to do with fish than plants.

I think it has to do with both. I just want to know if the TDS in my tank is too high. If so, this could be bad for plants and fish. My tank is running for about 12 months now and still not balanced. I am constantly fighting algae and suspect the water I use for changes is not helping.
