I have a 10 gallon with plants, RCS, and some ramshorn snails. The heater failed and I caught the tank at 106 degrees. Should have know something was wrong earlier in the day when all the snails were heading for the top of the tank!
Some shrimp survived. And looks like most, if not all the snails made it through. Will know in a few days for sure.

I am now wondering how this will effect the beneficial bacteria load in the tank.
And how it will effect the plants. They all still look very healthy.
This happened this morning and I caught it in the late afternoon.
