So i've got the sun sun w/ UV, not that that really matters so much. But its come time to add my cerges reactor to it and unlike other filters there is no ball valve to keep the water in the tubes from coming out. I was wondering if the piece that the tubing goes into, the black piece with the little flip thing, does that job?

Yup, when you lift the lever that unlatches the inlet/outlet assembly where your tubing is connected, you are rotating the ball value in that assembly to the shut off position. No water is going to leak out from the in/out tubes when you disconnect.

RickRS is correct. However you will still need to take the output hose out of the tank, unhook it from the attachment head and drain the water from it to get the inline reactor in. Then just hook everything back up and get it going.

yup, already done! the sun sun and cerges style reactor was a quick job. once the dust settles i'll be getting some pics up
