tank for photos? (Fish)

I have some guppy-size fish I wish to make photos of. I cannot, under any circumstances, get the fish to cooperate :)

Where might I find a really smallish tank that would allow me to do this? I am thinking of something small enough that they couldnt even turn around in. I have seen other photos online that make me think there is a product out there.

Well ive never seen one but why not buy a couple sheets of pvc glass and just make it like a small box for them to TEMPORARLY sit in :)

thought of that, but me cutting plexi that small is not going to be pretty lol.

I've seen them! Old Charley Grimes uses them all the time on collecting trips (he's a big guy in the cichlid hobby). Basically just a skinny glass box. Charlie actually has inserts so that he can swap out the background color depending on what would make the fish look best - white, black, blue, and red if I remember correctly. You could also use specimen containers like the ones the lfs use before they bag your fish up. Put a perforated divider in that you can slide forward to get the fish to hold still, then remove after your picture is taken.

yea just take one of those plastic boxes and get yourself some of that insulation stuff people use in vivariums for background and what not. Cut one to fit inside leaving enough room for the fishy and wala. Or get a super big chiller and freeze the tank quick then quick defrost. JK. Do not attempt :)
