My fish tank gets rid of 3-4ppm of ammonia within 24 hours. Does this mean my tank is done cycling?
If so, I am aware that I need to do a large water change to eliminate my high nitrate levels before adding fish.
What will happen if I add one fish (a small Cory) and only have that single fish in my 55g tank for 2 weeks? Will it be a problem if I wait too long before adding more fish? I'm afraid the beneficial bacteria I built up will die off.
