Taking CO2 off a tank?

I am contemplating taking my pressurized co2 system off my tank and wondering what I should consider prior to doing so. Currently I run the CO2 and dose all the seachem stuff. This was my first tank ever so its ugly and nothing is really growing that great so I just want to pull the CO2 and use it on another tank. Currently in the tank I have a crypt, some R rotundafolia, anubias, DHG and Microsword. Will my tank explode if I tank the co2 off? Should I stop dosing? thanks.

guessing (not knowing the setup) reduce the photo period some and 1/2 the dosing then just out watch for algae issues to make further changes.
