For over a decade I've used a Hagen AquaGlo 15W on my 10G low tech, which has been fine, but the one thats in there now is quite old and probably due for replacement. I was wondering if any of the other Hagens or Aqueons (only two I have ready access to) would be any better from a plant growing perspective.

I use Hagen lifeglos....however mine are T5's....I get great growth from them

I believe the t8 aquaglo's put out the most PAR in the best spectrum for plants out of the Hagen T8 lineup, wish I had the links onhand.. but I've gotten good results with the floraglo if you don't mind the pinkish hue, and ofcourse, the lifeglo's are good if you want the 6500k look.

Thanks for the feedback. So its pretty much more of a color choice then as oppose to performance with plants.

How do you find the lifeglo? In the video engineering world 6500K is totally neutral, if anything a hair on the warm/red side, but I've found with regular office bulbs what they call 6500 ("daylight") is quite blue.
