4 t5 bulbs without co2 sounds like a disaster but you can pretty get any brand as long as the spectrum is good (~6700k) and fits the wattage for the fixture.

what bulbs do you guys recommend for a 55 gallon tank. its a 4x54 t5ho. would the phillps or viavolt work. any help is recommend. currently not running co2 just flourish and excel

[censored][censored][censored][censored] I have the aquaticlife and it sits at 15 inches from the substrate so if I run 4 bulbs it would put me at 160 par way to high. so am just gonna run 2 bulbs only problem is I cant find any t5 bulbs my might have to find a horticulture place around me. I live on a island so not many choices.![]()
ATI t5HO w/ 3 bulbs puts you at 90 plus par at 20".........
Much depends on reflectors and ballasts though.. Pick what you think might be closest..
