I have the Solarmax dual HO T5 fixture with a 10,000k bulb and a actinic 03 bulb that came all together(54 watt each), i have a planted 60x19x21ish tank, diy yeast co2, what should i change the actinic bulb to?

Your Lighting Question

Hello Ben...

DiscusJeff is 100% right. The 6500 K will provide the light blue color recommended for planted tanks, because it best mimics natural daylight at 5500 K. A T5 will provide very intense light over a small area. A 6500 K, T8 would tone down the light a little, but distribute it over a larger area.

So ive gone to petsmart and home depot and walmart and cant find a 48" t5 thats HO...any suggestions on where and what brand to get?
