I recently set up a 75 gallon tank that I wanted to plant and stock with only Amazon endemic flora and fish. I'm not doing CO2 here just Eco Complete and soft moderately acidic water. However, as I'm assembling various Echinodorus plants I'm finding out that many are not originally from south or central America. I'd like to know which sword plants are truly from that region. I'd also like to know what other aquatic plants are endemic there. So far for fish I've got neons, rummy nose, otocincius and apistos. I've used almond leaves and drift wood but the water is not heavily "black watered" up. I'm using 2 AI Freshwater Prime fixtures set at 65k presently in acclimation mode. I'm using NilocG Thrive tabs in the substrate.
