how big is your tank? What type of plants? how much actual open swimming space is there?

Checkerboards are really cool actually, and sorta under utilized. Also, I've heard that Kribs can be really agressive when (its a matter of when, not if) they breed. I would stick to GBR's or apistos in a harem set up.
