I have a 29g tank and currently the scape has is more lower to mid level of the tank. I picked up a nice mopani piece from my lfs. I want to suspend the wood and cover it with some fissdens. My first thought was to screw the wood to some SS and fold the SS over the edge of the tank, but I'm not sure if it will hold the wood in the position I want. Has anyone ever attempted this? If so how did you mount the wood to the tank?

I want to place it in the upper left side facing back corner with an angle down.

A while back someone had a piece of wood, I think Malaysian but he had SS screws through large suction cups holding it to the glass/w mosses growing in arias that would cover the cups. I believe it was the kind of suction cups that have the clip on the back
designed to hole air line and he just cut them off flat right under the clip and put the screw right through the center of it. The ones on the thermometers only hold good for about a year and then loose that ability to hold.
