Hi 2Shi,I'm looking to superglue my Java Moss to a large stone. Once the superglue deteriorates in the water, will the Java Moss have latched onto the rock or would I need to reapply glue to keep it attached?
Ohhh interesting, I'll keep that in mind! Going to purchase my superglue today. Any brand will do right? I don't want some crazy chemicals killing everything in the tank.Hi 2Shi,
I use Superglue Gel, it doesn't run like Superglue.
What color hairnet do you use? How big are the holes in the netting? The ones at my local 99 cent store have VERY tiny holes. So small that I don't think Java Moss will fit through it.The superglue should work, but personally over rocks I've always found hairnets to be the easiest and you get the most uniform coverage. Once you put the hairnet over the rock and it spreads out you barely see it even before growth starts.
I usually use black or brown. Once the hairnet is stretched those holds get really big. There's no problem with the moss growing through it even if it were small. Been doing it a long time. What color hairnet do you use? How big are the holes in the netting? The ones at my local 99 cent store have VERY tiny holes.
