I really would like to have a custom made sump, but I am not paying more for my sump than the tank. :angryfire

I have around 48x22x18 area to work with. Does anyone have any suggestions? Would I be better off to just buy one of the pre-built ones? I would like it to have filter socks, but I am open to suggestions.

I used a 40b w/ 1/2" acrylic siliconed into place as baffles. the two pictures may give you a better idea on how I get water from the overflow and return to the tank. this co2 reactor is no longer being used. It worked great, but was in the way and leaked...
