I'm not exactly sure of what you mean. Are they trying to jump out of the tank? Weir is something that diverts water, or is there some other meaning and I'm just dumb? lol Anyhow if they are trying to jump out, perhaps you could post your water parameters? The more info the easier to see what the issues are. I'd guess water quality considering none of mine have tried to bail out before.

Or do you mean they just don't stay at ground level? If so mine are all over the tank, top bottom, sides, hanging out on the floaters. Don't believe there's not a level of the tank they don't enjoy.
