Well i just recieved my package from Dr. Fosters and to my surprise :icon_frow :icon_frow :icon_frow :icon_frow Flourish 2Liter bottle had a puncture and the bag it was sealed in had a leak... leaked in the coralife powercenter but i cleaned it and tested it and it works .. i think... eeeehhhhh smells like iodine/soy sauce... makes me hungry for chinese...

You need to contact the Drs.' and you have the proof with those pics.
sent an email the customer service email addy and attached these pics... i really dont want to ship a soy sauce smelling package back to them if they require it...
I had the same problem.

I had the same problem with an order from a different online place. I was not a happy camper... I believe it is actually a design flaw in the cap made by SeaChem. I informed the store I ordered it from and they sent me another bottle. Same thing happened to the second bottle. Did I say I was not a happy camper:mad:? We should probably both write SeaChem and explain the problem

Also, it doesn't help when a retailer puts "this end up" and the UPS guy drops it off at your door with the arrow pointing towards the floor. Now both the box and the carpet in the hallway of the apartment smell like Flourish. Funny thing is they did this twice too.
They'll probably just resend everything, without you having to ship anything back.

Happened to me too, to a lesser grade, didn't lose enough Flourish to make it worth to complain. Funny how they put those bottles into an extra bag... my bag was sealed and I was able to return the spilled Flourish into its bottle. Lol.
Dr. F&S has great customer service. Sorry to hear about that spill.

On a side note: You may want to edit/delete that 3rd pic since it clearly shows your information. IMO.

i had an order go bad from Dr fotser and smith and they sent me new items with out me having to send them the borken / missing items.
Same here. 2L bottle of Flourish also. I called and they resent it without a problem. One of the reasons that I am willing to pay a few $$ more to do business with companies like Drs F&S.
I had a light that arrived and wouldnt work. They never even asked me twice, I had a replacement in a few days. THATS customer service.
I called them sunday and they told me not to use the coralife power center anymore.. the box was drenched in flourish but when i tried it, it worked. I was told to discontiue use and they will send a pre paid box to ship the power center and they will send me a new bottle of flourish and a new power center.. pretty sweet customer service i tell you.
Glad to hear it. But Honestly--its sounds like normal, everyday customer service for the Drs.

When I have a multi-item order to make I will usually shop around some. I always check my total order cost (after shipping) with the Drs. If its just a few $$ more--then I order from them. Oftentimes though--its actually cheaper! And these days I get Saturday delivery when applicable!

Would that everyone had such "normal" service!

I, too, had the something of the same thing happen with the 2 liter bottle of Excel. Although this was from Big Al's. Fortunately they tape the thing, then put it in a bag, (if I remember correctly, been a while,) so I only lost a quarter cup or so and the rest of the order (also chemicals) was fine.

Same here, they put my excel and prime in bags. excel leaked a little amount, so I just dumped it back in the bottle. prime didn't leak :)
