Can you use Caribsea Arag-Alive Oolite as a substrate in your freshwater aquarium. Not as a planting substrate but as a decorative item..for example as a path through a forest?
I have some left over from my reef tank and that's why I'm posing the question
I agree with darkblade48. Also, your only going to need a few pounds of sand at the most, so we are not talking about a major expense item here. I'd just buy the sand you need.
