What are you guys using as substrate supports?

I use corrugated plastic and some hardscape to help keep the slopes.

Have a look around you for 'drainage cells', a few forum members have been using them with success to build up substrate. They allow for easy placement of things and also allows you to play around with hardscape without having to get substrate out. Also corrugated plastic and hardscape like bereninga said will work.

pretty cheap for a good amount at a hardware store corrugated plastic its easy to cut and manipulate
