Hey guys so I got a bag of bioactive substrate at the reptile show and I just put it in my terrarium a few months later. It smells so gross. Like horse manure or fertilizer. There’s no earthy dirt smell at all. Is this normal? I don’t want to add plants in at this point because I’m unsure of what’s going on.
