Substitute sizeing for eheim tubeing?
I need to buy some tubing for my eheim 2217. the small hose is the 12/16mm, and the large is 16/22mm. What size tubing will work if I am buying from lowes.

When purchasing vinyl tubing that comes in 10 foot rolls at big box stores, avoid rolls with any kinks in the tubing. Some of those bends never come out, even after running hot water through them.

Garden hoses leach toxins, because they are made from cheaper rubbers unless specified for potable application.
If your willing to spend a little extra.... Lowe's or home depot both carry "reinforced vinyl" also. It's also clear but you will see braided nylon imbedded inside.
This tubing is made for the pressurized distribution of soda and beer and is co2 resistant.

I hated removing and cleaning filter lines - I found it time consuming and messy; so I picked up this brush.
Flexible Brush - 5 foot long for 1/2" - 1" diameter tubing; 4" long X 1" wide brush head
