After searching the site I couldn't find the answer.
My nitrates have been dropping recently so I mixed up a batch of KNO3 and distilled water and now have my nitrates where they should be. Should the leftover solution be refrigerated or can it be stored at room temp?

Thanks

It could be a good media for microorganism to grow on (esp if you mix other things like phosphate and trace into it). A good way to keep it is to avoid any direct sunlight (prevent excess energy source) and keep it cool in a fridge (lower the metabolism).

However since a plain KNO3 mix is very cheap, leaving it as is will never hurt you that bad. There is nothing to get spoiled. The worst is precipitation or slight reduction in nitrogen content due to microbal activity.
