Heavily planted 60g Tall. Driftwood and rock. 307 Fluval canister filter, 20% weekly water changes.

Messed with the quantities and it seems like the angelfish are the issue, but want to make sure I get a male and female so wanted to start with 5.

Thoughts/Suggestions?

If you are starting with juveniles, you can plug those sizes in and see what it says.

The sticking point with the angelfish is the footprint of the tank. A 12" deep tank isn't going to give them a lot of room to maneuver.

Just a thought, having a pair of breeding angels is a nice thought but they get very aggressive when eggs are present. Having enough space for the others to escape is important. I have 3 breeding pairs in my 245. Each pair defends a 12” sphere around the eggs from all intruders. At one point all 3 had eggs and the tank was a pretty hostile place. This picture took several tries as the parents were attacking the glass when i got near,not to mention biting me while i trim plants nearby.
