currently I have a lone male betta, but thinking about moving him. Its a derimmed open top with a good amount of stem plants covering most of it. I need a few fish that can stay in there without too much risk of jumping. any suggestions?

also not looking for livebearers... too many and tired of them.

If it were me, I would stock a group of one or two of these:
-Clown killifish
-Licorice gouramis
-Dwarf rasboras
-Mosquito rasboras
-Exclamation point rasboras
-Yellow rasbora
-Green rasbora
-Galaxy rasbora
-Gertrudae rainbowfish
-Anchor catfish
-Pgmy Cories
-Scarlet badis
-Shrimp
The killifish may be the only ones that you would want to watch for jumping.. but as long as you have a good amount of plant cover they should be fine.

thanks for the replies... Thinking that i might go with some dwarf rasboras and maybe one center piece fish. Anyone else have suggestions?

Emerald eye rasboras are nice, as are Gertrudae rainbowfish and a cool centerpiece would be Dario Dario.

Add some ottos and RCS or Amano and it would be great.

i have rcs in another thank, but researching dario dario, they seem to only like live foods. That's a bit problematic for me. Ottos are definately on the list.
edit: wow on the rainbowfish. Definately want to find some. Thanks :D
