Alright, right now i have 6 black neon tetras and 3 peppered cory's. I know i might be totally pushing it if not over stocking, but I have really been wanting a male and female pair of Apistogramma Cacatuoides Triple Red, Double Red, or Orange Flash. Depends on what Aquarium Adventure has in stock. basically as the title says, i have a 12 gallon tank with a decent amount of plants. Is it possible to add them and they will have room? its up to you guys because i have absolutely no clue. I also might get a 20 gallon tank for christmas, depending on how convincing i am with my parents. We'll see. Thanks in advance.

Thats what I'm thinking. I'm not really looking to breed them. If they do they do, if not they don't. I just know that two males would be bad news when it comes to territory. Would they get pissed and eat/kill the tetras or cory's?

I think you'd do better to wait for a bigger tank for those particular Apistos.

I wouldn't put anything else in the 12gal, personally, unless you wanted 2-3 more Black Neons.
