Hi,

Looking for some stocking ideas for my 160 litre (35 gallon) planted tank!

Length 123cm
Width 33cm
Height 40cm

Currently I have 2 golden rams, 6 green neon tetra, 6 endler guppies and 1 small bristlenose pleco. Am considering adding a male plakat style dumbo eared betta that I have in a smallter tank atm as well as he is very docile and I think would enjoy the larger tank - but unsure about how he would get on the with the rams.

Not sure if I'm already at capacity or if there's space for some more critters

Do you know the genders of your rams? I would be hesitant to put the betta in if the rams are either both males or a breeding pair because they may get fin nippy. Two female rams will keep to themselves more. My two male rams mostly ignore all my other fish but at feeding times they can get nippy with the tetras so just something to look out for. If your rams breed the betta might not have a good time

adding your betta would put you at 44 percent stocking according to the stock calculator I use however the calculator advises that you should not house the betta with the rams, the endlers, and the pleco. if these were my tanks I would be willing to try the move if it wasn't for the rams.

More Green Neons! Personally, if it were me, I'd go for a school of 18-20 of them. You can't beat the look of a huge group of schooling fish. I would also always recommend White Cloud Mountain Minnows personally, but they are cool water fish and may not necessarily go with the look you are trying to achieve.

Also, nice tank! Pretty similar to the 33/40 long here in the states. Love those long shallow tanks. Great for light penetration.
