for some reason, regardless of how much surface movement i have, i continue to have this oily film on the top of my water. i have started using a different water conditioner lately. i used to use stress coat, but have recently switched to NovAqua+ Plus Instant Conditioner. i guess i could go back to using stress coat and see if it stops. do you guys know if there is anything in the novaqua+ that would make the water surface look this way? could it be the vitamins and other junk in it? it's not from the co2, believe me. like i said, regardless of the surface agitation it's like it just churns the film as though if i pulled water out of the tank, that it too would still look like that.
