Can someone tell me which nutrient deficiency would cause the stem to break off easily??? Every morning I would find some leaves with the stem broken off the night before. I mainly have this problem with my hygrophila corymbosa "Stricta." And now the Staurogyne repen iis having the same issue. With the repen I attribute to the effect of acclimation since I got them only 2 weeks ago. With the Stricta, I have them since August. Even after EI dosing for 2 weeks and before with added potassium, I am still seeing signs of potassium deficiency on the leaves too. Not as bad as before but it usually happens at the tips of the leaves and working its way towards the stem. A lot of times, the stem will break off as a result. I have been adding about 10ml of Potassium 3x a week now. See if that would improve the situation.
