So yeah why is it I get nice stems and they go all bushy and nice but then one day I see them break off and float up and the bottoms have just rotted?

I find this is soil sand and gravel and gravel topped soils :(

Here is a link for the giant baby tears. It explains this issue.http://www.aquaticplantcentral.com/forumapc/plantfinder/details.php?id=185
Ok it says if low light but im not kidding when I say this the lighting is quite high at the end of the day every single plant is pearling so fast the tank looks like sparkling water!

The giant baby tears is thriving above substrate but rotting under it and I dont know until it pearls so much the bubbles lift it out the substrate. Shame I would love an anchored bush of it beautiful plant

I was reading about this plant last night and found this plant has a lot of issues you are not alone. I found on old thread that every person had trouble with it. I'm sure there is a formula some where for this pesky plant but may not be worth keeping.

Thanks houb good to know its not just me. It seems as though it would be fine floating doesnt seem to want to root anyway. Like I said its fine above substrate which is wierd. Might look for alternatives then :)
