I was thinking about getting a set of stainless steel filter pipes.

I also am looking at glass ones.
pros and cons and your preference.

I just went thru this.

I keep breaking glass so I just changed over to SS ones. And love them!!

I don't have to clean them often and they won't break while trying to clean them.

And they are slightly cheaper. Depending on brand.

I don't mind the steel look in the tank.

If only there were gorilla glass filter pipes. now there is an idea. :biggrin:

Ya I'd rather have nice ss pipe showing then algae glass pipes.
And then as often as you clean them to keep a cleaner look, youll eveually going break them.
