Yes it happens to my alternanthera reineckii mini, and alternanthera reineckii varigated. The others is grow well. I dose +/- 1/8 tsp KN03 , 1/32 tsp KH2P04 , 1/8 tsp K2SO4 , Trace Elements 3x a week, Fluorish Excel 2ml everyday , iron edta 13% everyday. What exactly are you dosing? Please list what and how much.
Are any other plants showing signs of deficiency?
Sent from my SM-G950F using TapatalkIn my experience, when I see necrosis on the leaves, I think it’s calcium dificiency. I would dose 1 tsp CaSO4 per 10g just once. Then wait two weeks. You will see the improvement. Don’t forget to continue with your other dosages.
Agree, i think this is phospate deficiency because I've added more the Nitrogen, Kalium and my plant is not getting better. I would try your advice to increase 5 to 6 times from EI Dosing. Thanks for the advice man. Let see for a weekHi.. the same kind of brown patches used to come on my frogbits. I increased the phosphate dosing and now it's gone. Phosphate s something we underdose especially when we have a densely planted tank. I am almost dozing 5 to 6 times the recommended ei phosphate dose now and plants r flourishing. Let's try that for a week and then if symptoms persist or get worse we can c where else the problem might be. Keep us posted.
